John ‘Pop’ Lloyd

The National Pastime Museum commissioned me to do a drawing of John Henry ‘Pop’ Lloyd on January, 2017. John ‘Pop’ Lloyd played in the early 1900’s negro leagues in the U.S. and also in Cuba. He was soft spoken and extremely well liked. He played the field but was best known for short stop and for his superb batting record.
